maemo is a new development platform for applications and
technology innovation for handheld devices. The most
showy feature of maemo it the new designed Hildon user interface.
maemo is based on well known Open Source software like Linux, X,
GTK+, DBus and Gnome-VFS.
Today Nokia 770
Internet Tablet is the first consumer product compatible with maemo.
